You Amaze Me, version 2

After receiving an email from an online magazine, I re-worked the original, giving it a pop of color and this is what I came up with:

**ETA I got an email from Creating Keepsakes for this page! YAY! I am no longer going to be a one-hit wonder with them! (I'll add the page back in once the issue comes out.)

Puppy Love

Scrappin Trends design team work for March., featuring the new Dapper line from All My Memories.

This little sweetheart is Madison- with her puppy, Rollins.

Bloom where you're planted

Created for my Scrappin' Trends design team projects for March. This layout features the new Sassy line from All My Memories. The large letters are KI Alphabet soup and the small green ones are Heidi Swapp. 'Planted' is American Crafts alpha stickers.

This little funny girl is Jeff and my niece, Ava. Curtis & Katie's little girl. They had her pics taken by Rick Bella when she learned to sit up- isn't this the cutest idea?

Double toot!
I subbed a few pages last night to Scrapbooking & Beyond and woke up to the nicest email ever from one of the editors, requesting TWO of my pages! This is a first for me- to get a double whammy! I am so darned excited I can barely contain myself! Thanks for letting me share!

Kindergarten

This is a page I made just for me! I had so much fun making it- there are so many papers involved in this one- all cut into squares and rectangles, etc. The heart in the corner was punched from packaging material. I painted the edges to make it stand out a little more and then stitched around everything to try and help hold it down.

I finally got to use Sadie's kndergarten picture! YAY!

remember

Scrapper's Daily Dose design team sketch that was due today. Just a really simple one using Lasting Impressions for Paper products and a Wild Asparagus coaster.

Isn't this cemetary the coolest? I found it by accident one day in South Bend on the Notre dame campus. Now it is one of my favorite places to visit when I go there and just need some time to myself.

ETA: Soon to be seen in the May issue of ScrapStreet.com

Santa

Scrapper's Daily Dose design team work, featuring Daisy D's paper. The Santa letters are Lil Davis clay letters- that is such a fun font. It's one of my new favorite things!

Anyhow, these cuties are Sadie & Madison and the ritual Santa pic, circa 2004.

Another (sorta) toot!
I received an email today from one of the editors of ScrappyChick.com ezine. They were interested in using my 'You Amaze Me' layout, but asked that I punch it up a bit with some color. I plan on re-working it and sending it to them. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
