Friendship

My first official use of a CHA picture!! This is my best friend, Kim. [We took a break one night from the craziness of CHA and headed up towards Navy Pier. Kim, Renee, Robin and I all took a bunch of pics while we were out there and this is one of my favs.]

Transparent Touches and Tags DT work, using one of the 8.5x11 overlays. I love these- they make such quick and easy work of making a fun page!

whoosh!

Another project for The Scrapbook Stand using the July kit. Well- ok everything but the alphabet stickers which are Wordsworth from my stash. The journaling is hidden in the swirls and around the dots. It reads: 'Push us, Nana! Faster! Higher! Spin us again! Can we go up there? As fast as you can... whoosh... and off they go... spinning out of control..."

Pretty simple page for me, except for the swirls- which were all drawn and then handcut. Pretty relaxing page to make, oddly enough.

Undeniably silly

Have I said lately how much I am really enjoying working with the products from TTT? Well, I AM!! They really take a 'blah' layout and just make it *pop*! I am just kicking myself that I didn't find them sooner!

This is my second project for the month over at TTT. Come check us out, if you haven't already.

Of course, these little ones are my nieces, Sadie and Madison. I just love that they can cut up and be the little lovey silly goosies that they are when then come over to play. We always have so much fun. Love these girls...

Girly-Girl

This week has been so slow moving for me. Work has really not been fun. 4th of July is always crazy-especially with the festival going on and now all the fireworks complaints & calls & fires. Really doesn't make for a fun week. And I am on midnights, so... UGH!

So, I was very happy that when I woke up today that I had the itch to go create. I really enjoyed making this layout this afternoon; it's my very first layout for Transparent Touches & Tags.

This is Madison- from last summer. We were playing at my house and I was playing with the different settings on my camera and captured this sweet shot of her. Lots of girly-girl flowery touches and some stitching and I am a very happy camper.
