Who could resist this face?

One more for the Scrappin' Trends design team. If you didn't read the other posts, the sponsor this month was Piggy Tales. Really fun papers and embellies to play with! [FYI: This can also be seen in the Scrappin' Trends e-zine!]

This little guy is my sweet Weimaraner puppy, Payton- fresh from his bath the night we got him. I know I must have used a ton of photos so far from that night, but I just love him to pieces. (It isn't obvious or anything, right? LOL)

Music that moves Me altered notebook

An altered composition book I made for the design team at Scrappin' Trends. Our sponsor this month was Piggy Tales. Man, I really enjoyed working with their products. I really would have loved to have made that design team... but life goes on and I need to be thankful for the teams I *do* have.

I made this notebook to try and keep track of my oodles of Ipod downloads. I honestly didn't think I had a need for this until I checked my Ipod the other night and found I had three versions of Peral Jam's Black on it. :)

love

I just love the sweet looks these girls get on their faces when they are posing for me. Both of them usually put their chin down and thrust a hand on their hip- you can barely make out Madison doing that in her shot. It just cracks me up.

I did this one for the Scrappin' Trends design team and our sponsor this month was Piggy Tales. I really love their papers and products. Fun patterns to play with- I have more to share with them coming soon! [FYI: This can also be seen in the Scrappin' Trends e-zine.]

Let's Play!

One more for Scrapbook Sizzle. This time I used the Junkitz papers and the TTT transparencies, along with a lot of distress ink. :)

You knew more Payton pictures HAD to be coming, right? LOL

Here's my sweet lil guy the day we went over to my Mom's house- so he could meet and play with Matilda. They had so much fun- playing outside in grass- just rolling around. I was even able to capture a little of it on video- just so we could see how little he really once was! I know it will just be a few short weeks before he's grown and I've forgotten just how cute he is!

Happiness

Another one for Scrapbook Sizzle- using the September kit.

This one was kinda fun- I cut out a bunch of the flowers from the Junkitz salsa papers and then laid them on top of the TTT transparency. I added a whole bunch of the rub-ons on top of the cut-out flowers and the transparency and then added some mini-brads for a little something extra.

These are the girls- at the Spring Fashion Show this year. I think it is the only 'good' shot I got inside the hall. LOL

Kid Zone

I finally get to share some of the work I have been doing for Scrapbook Sizzle! This layout features the September kit that is jam packed full of Junkitz papers & embellies and yummy Bazzill cardstock. It also has a bunch of my favorite embellies- Transparent Touches & Tags!!

These two beautiful girls are my nieces, Sadie and Madison at Disney a few years back. They were so excited to get to meet Ariel.

A few altered items for The Scrapbook Stand

The September kit from The Scrapbook Stand featured two of the new lines from Crate Paper and some really fun embellies- like the copper metal bar on the treat container and that awesome Maya Road paisley die on the notes-book.

As you can see, I've really been into altering things lately. I found this cute little notebook at Target on clearance and knew these awesome Crate Papers would be the perfect complement.

The little treat container is from a Cricut die. So is the 'yum' tag and the 'S' on the notes-book.

{As always, for a close-up- just click on the photo.}

We will never forget.

I normally don't post anything other than scrapbook related things to my blog, but today is one that NEEDS to stand out. It has been five years since our Freedom was attacked and we need to remember. We should not ever forget that fateful day and we should not ever lose our Patriotism. God Bless America.

{possible} Cover toot!
Ohmygoodness! I am so darned excited I can hardly see straight- I got an email from Scrapstreet telling me I am a finalist for the COVER of the October ezine! (But even if I don't make the cover, I will still have my layout, 'Seize the Moment' featured in the mag! How cool is that?

100% Girl {Ave style}

I did this layout for the Transparent Touches and Tags September newsletter. Monica just got in those cool Memories Complete circle stickers and I did a little article about them for the newsletter.

Oh yes! This is Curtis and Katie's litlte girl, Ava. She was born right before Christmas (almost) two years ago. She's gotten so big now, but I thought I would use an older photo and some of my Chatterbox stash.

Glory

I just love fall around here- there are always so many gorgeous photo opportunities- and I must have hundreds of photos... I had to use at least one of them with this delicious September kit from Transparent Touches & Tags. I think the only thing I added was a little paint and the mini brads from DCWV. I also used the Heidi Swapp edge distresser to tear up all the edges of the photo mats.

Autumn

One more for Transparent Touches & Tags, using the September kit. It features Daisy D's Gypsy Harvest line- and I absolutely fell in love with it! All of the awesome transparencies are from TTT- including that cool {. I added some fun flowers and the Making Memories brads.

This is Sadie, trying to heft a punpkin that is about as big as she is! This photo was taken the same time as the one where she is sitting inside the pumpkin cornucopia.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

I got to work with my very first Transparent Touches & Tags kit and quite a few things evolved- this is one of them. The kit features the new Daisy D's Gypsy Harvest line- and I just fell in love with all the rich colors and fun embellies. I added some embossing to the edges of the page itself and the photo mat.

This photo is quite a bit older- from when Sadie was about 2.5 or three- Madison was still beign carried, so she had to have been little. Mom and Dad took Morgan & the girls & me pumpkin picking at this cute little farm they found one day on the way to Shipshewana. Needless to say, Sadie had a blast running around and chcking out all the fun fall things...
