Imagine, Create, Scrap! (http://www.imaginecreatescrap.com) is looking for 9 talented individuals to kick off the New Year with us! We are looking for a combination of paper and digi scrappers this time around.

  • post comments in the gallery on a regular basis

Autumn's Sweet Splendor

My Mind's Eye was so very generous to donate a bunch of their wonderful new Signature Suite goodies to the design team at Scrappin' Trends.

This is my first project, using the "Beauty of Life" and "Little Girls Are..." lines. The minute I saw this beautiful paper, I knew I wanted to complete at least one layout showing off some of the pictures I took last month when Mom, Dad and I spent the day driving through the countryside on our way to Shipshewana
.

Super Stars

My final project for Transparent Touches & Tags featuring the November Sassafras Lass kit. I cut apart a lot of the papers on this one to make some of the elements really pop. I added some of the transparency stars for some extra oompf. ;) This one was really fun- I just kinda let myself go and let the elements guide me. I added a little stitching and lot of Heidi Swapp embellies and it was finished!

Sadie and Madison were so cute this fall cheering for Pop Warner football. I was finally able to catch their last game and got some really great photos. I love this one because Madie always makes such funny faces when she is cheesing for the camera! LOL

I'm so glad there is you...

My sweet puppy, Payton. He is getting so big now, it seems like these days of him being so small were eons ago.

I also did this one for Transparent Touches & Tags, using the November Sassafras Lass kit. I used a few of the papers and cut up a bunch of them for the flowery/star border. I added a small heart in the corner and some ricrac to finish it.

You Mean the World to Me

One more for Transparent Touches & Tags, using the November Sassafras Lass kit. This one was fairly easy- I just wanted to show off some of the patterned paper, so I cut it into strips to use for the background. Lots of stitching finishes off the project.

Of course, these two are Sadie and Madison, my sweetpea nieces. I snapped this shot of them at the Breast Cancer Walk last month. They were dressed up so cute, how could I resist?

carefree

Another layout for Transparent Touches & Tags, featuring the November Sassafras Lass kit. I made the squares on the bottom and top using a process called 'serendipity squares," where you take strips or bits of patterened paper and adhere them to cardstock and then cut squares from it for accents. I went one step further and added a layer of Mod Podge on top to seal everything and give it some sheen.

These two are Sadie and Madison, my sweet nieces, running from me one day last Spring at the school where I love to take them to go play.

Caught a Bug card

I made this card for Transparent Touches & Tags, using the November Sassafras Lass kit. The jar is one of the punch put from the dietcut sheets and the card was made from a Heidi Swapp folder. The bug and alpha stickers are SEI and the alpha rubons are Making Memories.
