Unforgettable face

Worldwin Papers was so very kind to sponsor us at Transparent Touches & Tags this month.

I made this one last night when I got home from work. I've had this "calm" picture of Payton for about a month and I've been dying to use it on something. When I found this cute little heart stamp, I knew I wanted to use the two things together. The journaling is kind of hard to read, but it says 'I have so much love for this sweet, unforgettable face.'

All the stuff that looks like stitching is actually me pen doodling! I've finally gotten over my awkwardness about that, so expect to see more! LOL

Shop4Crops Design Team toot!
I just found out I was one of only *three* very lucky girls to be chosen as part of the very first design team at Shop4Crops! I am beyond excited and so very blessed!! And I get to work with two girls I've never worked with before... but have forever admired their creativity!

Thank you so much Daina, for this fabulous opportunity!

Made With Love

I have just really been so fortunate lately- I've been a scrapping fool! It seems every night when I come home from work, I've been able to head into my studio and turn out a page. Sometimes two! I'm not sure what it is lately, but I really hope it doesn't go away! LOL

This is a page I made for Imagine, Create, Scrap! using the February Love Shack kit. I'm not sure I've mentioned this before or not- but Kim has dropped the prices on the kits and is offering a choice of two this month and next. The kits are only $20! You really have to stop in and check them out if you have not done so already.

This little cutie is my niece, Madison. Each year before Christmas, us girls all get together to bake cookies. This is just one of the bazillion shots I took that day- so expect to see more! LOL

Cold Nose, Warm Heart

This is my last project for Scrappin' Trends. Fancy Pants was so kind to sponsor the design team there this month. I was pretty thrifty when it came to this page- LOL- I used only one piece of patterned paper to make this page. I cut out the inside of the polka dot paper, flipped it over and used the remaining snowflake pattern to use on top of the Bazzill scalloped cardstock. I added some stitching, buttons and chipboard letter to finish it off. The heart is also from the kit- I made it using the leather snippet and painted it pink. I wiped off the paint so it could not settle into the pattern- I then attached the (dried) heart to a piece of cardstock, stuffed it with some cotton and stitched around it to close.

Stubborn

One more for Scrappin' Trends, using Fancy Pants papers, etc. The kit also features some gorgeous felt ricrac, Fancy Pants flowers and Hambly Screen prints overlays. I thought this cool swirlie sort of added a funny little note to Madison's determined stride.

She's so funny- and so, so stubborn- just like the rest of us women in the family, huh girls? ;)

Love at First Sight

For January at Scrappin' Trends, Fancy Pants was kind enough to sponsor us with their wonderful lines of papers. I was so happy to get Clair de Lune- which boasts some of my most favorite papers... I took the floral paper and cut out my favorite parts- some of the vine swirlies and flowers and added them to the page as accents in each corner. I also added some Making Memories tiny alphas to add the journaling.

This one is a fun page about my Dad and Payton meeting for the first time when Payton was about a month old. I just love this sweet little moment.

Naturally Adorable

I just love this kit from Transparent Touches & tags this month- here's one more. It uses papers from Dream Street as well as some BasicGrey. I added a bunch of Primas and Queen & Co brads.

This little sweetie is Ava- Curtis and Katie's daughter. I took this shot of her while she was opening all her birthday gifts- I'm surprised I was able to capture such a sweet moment- LOL!

First Taste

My final layout for Transparent Touches. I used a lot of the BasicGrey Blush on this one- and cut out around one of them so make the 'scalloped' edge on this.

Payton was so darned funny the first night it snowed. You should have seen him when he figured out he could catch the snowflakes on his tongue and eat the snow as if fell from the heavens. I really should have video-taped it! LOL

Sweetpeas

One more for Transparent Touches.

I love this shot of Sadie and Madison. Either my Mom or I took this shot last year at Easter. They are always so lovey on each other in photos and I love that about them- I'm pretty sure that's why I gave them the nickname of "sweetpeas."

There's lots of stuff going on in this page that is hard to see in a photo- lots of machine stitching, some added bling on the flowers and a ribbon tie that is mostly hidden from all those cut out flowers. I just had lots of fun making this page so girly! LOL

Smitten
More Transparent Touches work- and another shot of Payton. If you look closely, you'll see his nose is covered in snow! And not because he was cold- because he runs around out in the snow with his snout on the ground, licking up as much of it as he can! LOL

Unique

I am just in love with this month's kit from Transparent Touches! It features the Romantique line from Dream Street Papers and BasicGrey Blush!

And I think this swirly paper is my absolute favorite in the entire Romantique line- I really wanted it to be the focal point of the page and thought this cute picture of Sadie complemented it pretty well. This is a shot from her first day of school LAST year. Good grief I am so far behind sometimes! LOL Those girls seem to grow so much faster than I can scrap!

Rocket Dog

I'm so glad it's finally February 1st!~ I have been DYING to share all my new projects for Transparent Touches & Tags with everyone!!

This one is featured in the newsletter and accompanies my article about Fancy Pants chipboard.

This is Payton- big as a horse! He *loves* the snow! So much so, that I have a hard time getting him to come IN when I let him out to go potty! Not even coaxing him with a cookie will work when there is freshly fallen show out there! And as you can see, he loves to run around in the front yard- as fast as he can- tongue hanging out and all! LOL
