Breast Cancer Awareness month special at Scrapperie!
October is breast cancer awareness month and (starting now) for the entire month of October, I will be donating 25% of all sales from the October kit and all other kit sales (past Boutique kits and all Overstock kits) to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Breast cancer is a disease very near and dear to my heart and this is what I can do to help give a little back.

This month's kit at Scrapperie is called Indian Summer and it full of the rich hues of Autumn with papers from Daisy D's, My Mind's Eye and K & Co. This kit is seriously paper heavy at a pretty light price: only $30 for our Essentials kit or $57.50 for our Pièce de Résistance kit- that has everything you could possibly need for a whole month's worth of scrapping! (Those are the one month prices, subscribe and save even more!) We also offer an alterable add-on kit, The Extras for just $16.50 and a fun mini add-on kit called The Trimmings for only $7.50. (If you follow the above links, not only will you get some better photos but it will also show you an itemized list of everything that is inside each kit.)

And remember- when you order, you'll not only be getting some great scrap supplies, you'll be donating to help find a cure!

A page and a mini toot!

I made this page, tradigital style, using the Scrapperie September kit- Social Butterfly. It's really hard to see, but I used a Heidi Swapp ghost butterfly with a little paint around the edges just to the right of the head of the flower embellishment, and there are Swarovski crystals on the flower. I added the digital brushes (the soft cream colored henna swirilies) after scanning my page in. I also added the journaling the same way. Ironically, I added the word Solace before printing my photo. I did't have any plany on making this page tradigital when I was planning it out in my head. LOL

I also subbed this page to BasicGrey's idea gallery and they picked it up! Thanks for letting me share!

So many projects, so little time
I've been doing some jewelry making lately and I'm delighted to announce I subbed four projects for the new Bead Trends magazine (put out by the Scrapbook Trends people) and they picked up three of them! I've also opened up a little shop on etsy, selling some of my creations: retrouvez. Stop by and say hi!

I've also got a lot of new layouts to share over the next few days- it just seems like forever since I've updated my blog.... besides hanging out at my beloved Scapperie, I've been getting to know some of the wonderful people over at Craftgate. If you haven't had the time to check it out, you really shoud. It's a wonderful crafter's utopia.

A couple of toots!
I don't think I even shared on my blog last time- but I got a really cute page of the girls picked up for Memory Makers' Oh Baby book call and I just got an email request from Kitty & Wendy for their new book, Fabulous Friendships.

Both of these pages use some fun products from Die Cuts With a View- if you haven't checked into their stuff in a while - you REALLY NEED TO! Great stuff!

Something fun is coming....
